The picture to the left was taken at the Western Canada Games trials for Athletics in Regina in June, 2007. I have found that the Digital Rebel that I am using is not quite quick enough to capture a lot of the images that I would like around the track. Primarily it is due to slow the slower auto focus abilities of the unit. The picture was taken using the 70-200 f2.8L lense that I acquired last year. This one happens to be in perfect focus. Initially I was using the University of Saskatchewan's free homepage service to post pictures and the Huskies Cross Country training manual (see link to the left). However, I rapidly reached my quota and thus had to find fresh server space. So this is the result. Hopefully I can keep it updated through the year to keep it fresh.

Huskies XC Training Manual In August of 2005 I found myself unemployed (thank you MetaMorphix) and with some time on my hands. After a short period I decided to begin cataloguing the training, and reasons behind it, that I put my cross country running athletes through. The result is linked to above. It is still a work in progress but it has evolved to a point where I feel better about putting it up in a public forum. If you find it useful let me know. If you see errors definitely let me know. 2007 CIS XC Championships On the Remembrance Day long weekend the University of Victoria hosted the 2007 CIS XC Championships. It was a great event with a fantastic turnout and great weather. The race was held at beautiful Beacon Hill Park. Check out the pictures on the new web Gallery. |

My New Web GalleryAfter a couple years of fighting with posting picture albums individually I finally got organized and installed some new software. The Gallery2 server software works wonderfully with my Digikam image database. It makes updating exisitng albums, and creating new ones, a snap. It also means that one link takes you to an index for all the albums. Check it out with any of the albums listed on this page. |
2007 WCSGThe Western Canada Summer Games took place in Sherwood Park, Alberta, on August 8th to 11th. I went to cheer on the team and provide feedback to my personal athletes. Along the way I took some pics and have posted them. Check it out in my web Gallery. |

2007 SHSAA Track and Field Champs The SHSAA Track and Field Championships were held in the bustling small city of Yorkton this past May.
